This cannot be ruled out as plantar warts. Plantar warts are a kind of common warts that are benign growths of the skin of the plantar of the foot caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, usually appearing on the heel, front of the plantar or pressure part between toe. The disease often multiple damages, in clusters, or several adjacent warts fused with each other, manifested as keratinous hyperplasia of the foot and plantar, peeling of the keratin, loose horny soft core, and scattered small black spots caused by capillary bleeding. There may be pain when walking, which affects daily life and work. Plantar warts can occur at any age, and the incidence increases with age. It is mainly young and middle-aged, and those with trauma and weakened immunity are more susceptible to it. The following factors can increase the risk of plantar warts: long-term friction or trauma or skin damage on the feet; low immunity, such as AIDS patients or people who have received organ transplants, etc. are prone to this disease; walking barefoot on the ground, such as public bathrooms, swimming pools, etc. are easy to induce plantar warts; more sweating on the feet can also promote the occurrence of plantar warts. There are generally three treatment methods;
1. The first choice is to go to the hospital for liquid nitrogen freezing (it takes about 5 times, one time every10 days).
2. Applicator: topical imiquimod or fluorouracil ointment.
3. If the effect is not good,local injection of fluorouracil. In addition, it can also be combined with some drugs to improve resistance, such as oral thymosin enteric-coated pills, one piece a day.

The point is that my wife has one for a long time, and I have one this year. I think it’s weird. Will it be contagious?
